Mob City New Skater Summer Camp at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate!
July 29th, 2024 – August 2nd, 2024 (9am-12pm daily). Open to ages 8-18. Join Mob for a half day camp at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate (just off Hwy 99) to increase your skating skills and learn the basics of junior roller derby with Mob City coaches and Lynnwood’s certified instructors. Some skating experience is requested (campers should be able to make it around the rink unassisted). We will learn derby skating skills such as stops, safe falls, transitions, backwards skating. Start to learn teamwork, positional blocking, and basic jamming while getting an introduction to the rules and strategies of the game. Each day will include snacks, games, and activities focused around the world of roller derby, ending with a fun-filled scrimmage on the last day of camp!

New Skater Camp will be back in the fall! Sign up starting August 1st on our registration page or find more information here. Camps are now TEN weeks long and run on Sundays from 1:30pm-3:30pm at the Northgate Community Center in NE Seattle, just off I5.

Registration for returning skaters, transfers and New Skater Camps will open online on August 1st. Attend one of our Assessment & Open House events for team placement or to learn more about our league! Assessment & Open Houses will be August 18 & 25 starting at 3:30pm at Northgate Community Center. Teams currently practice at the Northgate Community Center in NE Seattle, just off I5, and Lynnwood Bowl and Skate, just off Hwy 99.

We are continuously looking for new practice spaces in central and south Snohomish county, if you have a place for us please reach out!
